Sex in the City

In Dec 2013 hundreds of police officers descended on Soho on premises allegedly linked to sex trafficking. Their objective, to make Soho a safe place to live, work and visit. The English Collective of Prostitutes saw it as an attack on women working together safely and collectively with friends. So who was right? And what is it about Soho that has made it the city’s sex location for hundreds of years?

On Thursday January 30th at Westminster Arts Library, Clayton Littlewood will discuss the history of Soho and some of the scandals and characters associated with it. Tim Arnold (aka The Soho Hobo) will be performing songs about the village where he lives. And Cari Mitchell from The English Collective of Prostitutes will be talking about whether the clean up of Soho is really needed.
